A huge business is being done with the vanity and hope of people worldwide. Everyone wants to be “discovered” (by the mainstream). Everyone thinks they are a genius. And that the mainstream is a god-like instance of justice.

Why would a student, doctor or professor concerned about their own career actively dig through non-mainstream portals and read through reams of self-indulgent papers?

Conversely, most non-mainstreamers are not prepared to read non-mainstream portals. This is because they usually only quote themselves or “recognized” sources.

All in all, we non-mainstreamers are the crumb collectors among the mainstream regulars. We don't stick together, but each of us fights for the favor of the mainstreamers on our own.

We are completely unaware of our strength - freedom from constraints. But since everyone only thinks for themselves, the mainstream laughs at us. We would only become dangerous if we stuck together and excluded the mainstream.

The term “non-mainstreamer” should be a proud mark of quality of free scientific thought and not a stigmatization.

Diese kanadische Seite intellectualarchive haut mich nicht um.

Ervin und Miroslav Pardy dominieren die Physik-Sparte. Mit Ervins Sockenpuppe "Critic" hatte ich ja schon epische fights. Aber mit Pardy bin ich - glaub ich - noch nie aneinander geraten. Dabei ist das möglicherweise ein viel würdigerer Diskutant

Mir scheint das eher so ne Pardy-Privatzeitschrift zu sein, in der Ervin so gerade eben geduldet wird. Beide schreiben aber auch heftigst auf Vixra. Und wer weiß, wo sonst noch. Masse statt Klasse.

Außerdem finde ich den Domainamen "intellectualarchive" blöd. Ein Archiv für Intellektuelle. Erinnert mich an Friedhof.

"Vixra" trifft den Kern der Sache deutlich besser....

Das ist das Problem. AI ist fast korrekt und fast zuverlässig. In meinen längeren Konversationen mit ChatGPT(4o) bin ich immer schwer beeindruckt von der Kompetenz und Sachkenntnis. Dann schlafe ich drüber, gucke nochmal und finde versteckte, grundsätzliche kapitale Fehler. Sachlich oder argumentativ. Das ist immer so. Das kann ein Haiku sein, indem die Wortanzahl nicht ganz stimmt. Oder auch ein induktiver Pick-up, für den ein Ringkern gewickelt werden soll. So etwas muss man finden und der AI mitteilen, dann wird verbessert. Aber wo grundsätzlich der Wurm drin ist, hat man keine Sicherheit, allen Murks gefunden zu haben.

KI basiert auf der Mustererkennung. Sie durchsucht Gelerntes nach Korrelationen.

Spannend wird die Sache, wenn die KI bis dato unbekannte Korrelationen entdeckt. Hier und da blitzen solche KI-"Geniestreiche" schon mal auf. Dann ist man regelmäßig platt.

Wahrscheinlich besteht der Weg von der Mustererkennung zur überlegenen Intelligenz nur aus einem kleinen Schritt.

Sobald auf der Erde etwas ist, was klüger ist als wir, kann man sich an einem Finger abzählen, was mit uns passieren wird.
