Okay, I killed another pair of output MOSFETs today by accidently shorting the output. They get killed faster than the 6.3A fuses I have in the power supply, hence I need a good shortcircuit protection. I've been looking at current sensing with a LM393 comparator that monitors a 0.05-ohm resistor in the power supply lines leading up to the amplifier. Anybody got a working schematic?

I am planning to insert ~35 mohm resistors in each power line AFTER my decoupling caps, these will trigger the base of NPN/PNP transistors, and immediately disable gate drive on overcurrent, maybe this will work for you?

P.S. I will disable gate drive by pulling tail grounding high in input comparator since I am building an UcD.
